Today is what we, in our house, call Game Day. We get up early, eat breakfast, rush off to our first game, two of us leave halfway thru to get to the other blonde’s game, and after Ryan’s is finished we head over to other game. I love game days. I hate the morning rush but I love to watch them play.
I get to let my children have experiences that I never had. It makes me happy to watch them succeed! I get to be their cheerleader and guide them. I get to hold them when they get hurt, cheer with them when they win, and be upset with them when they lose.
Today, Ryan’s team won! Ryan had 2 assists and he was so excited to be out on that field. I love to see him play so well and enjoy a sport. Anna’s team lost, but this was their first game of the season they are still getting used to playing together.
Otherwise today was a rainy day. I don’t think I would have left the house if it wasn’t for the games. Chris and I ran to Lowe’s to get a new grill. Our grill has been slowly falling apart over the years and when I came home a special surprise was at my door.
I was so excited that my bag from Magnolia Market showed up. I cannot wait to use it. It is absolutely gorgeous! Joanna has amazing taste. The packaging had that beautiful tulip with it. I think I even sniffed it (I thought it was real!).
